Ingredients for Steamed Beef with White Mushrooms:
– Beef Tenderloin: 200g
– White Mushrooms: 150g
– Satay Sauce: 1 tablespoon
– Shredded Ginger: 5g
– Chopped Scallions: a small amount
– Sugar: 1/2 teaspoon
– Salt: 1/2 teaspoon
– Minced Garlic: 1 teaspoon
– Water: 1 tablespoon
– Starch: 2 teaspoons
– Cooking Oil: as needed
Steps for Steamed Beef with White Mushrooms:
1. Remove the from the beef tenderloin and slice thinly against the grain.
2. Mix the beef with 2 teaspoons of starch, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of satay sauce.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of water and stir until the beef fully absorbs the water. Then, mix in two tablespoons of oil and marinate for 15 minutes.
4. Trim the roots off the white mushrooms.
5. Add a small amount of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, mix well, and spread evenly on a plate.
6. Evenly place the beef over the white mushrooms and sprinkle with shredded ginger.
7. Add water to a pot, bring to a boil, then steam the beef and mushrooms for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove, sprinkle with chopped scallions, and serve.
