Ingredients for Mexican Chicken Quesadilla:
– 1 Mexican tortilla
– Appropriate amount of chicken breast
– Appropriate amount of bell peppers
– Appropriate amount of onion
– Appropriate amount of mozzarella cheese
– Appropriate amount of salt
– Appropriate amount of pepper
– Appropriate amount of lemon juice
Steps for Making Mexican Chicken Quesadilla:
Step 1: Dice the chicken breast into small pieces, add an appropriate amount of pepper and salt, then squeeze in a little lemon juice. Mix well and marinate for 10 minutes.
Step 2: Finely chop the bell peppers and onion. Pour a little olive oil into a pan, add the chopped onion and bell peppers, and stir-fry until they change color.
Step 3: Add the marinated chicken breast and stir-fry until the chicken is fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 4: Take one Mexican tortilla. I used the easily available Mission brand, but you can also make your own tortilla. Heat both sides over low heat until charred spots appear on the tortilla.
Step 5: Turn off the heat to prevent the tortilla from burning while assembling. Place an appropriate amount of mozzarella cheese on one side.
Step 6: Add the cooked chicken mixture, then gently fold the tortilla over with a spatula. Turn the heat back to low and heat both sides slightly until the cheese melts.
Step 7: Remove from the pan, cut into pieces, and serve on a plate.
