1. Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and mash it into a paste for later use.
2. Preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes, then heat the American potato cakes at 180°C for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
3. Spread the mashed avocado on the American potato cakes.
4. Add an appropriate amount of sour cream.
5. Finally, sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish.
